Produced primarilly between 1900 and WWII, I have always considered these cards to be more of a military uniform print than a post card as the same processees were used to make these cards as were used to make the full sized uniform prints of the period. Most of the better military artists participated in this genre (even Rousselot got into the act) and include Toussaint, Lajoux, Leroux and Robiquet, Brun, Morel & Malespina.
